LAUNCH Junior Academy
LAUNCH Junior Academy at MCG is designed for middle school students who are interested in healthcare careers and want to grow in leadership and academic success. Students will spend time on the Medical College of Georgia campus learning directly from current medical students and faculty in a structured, supportive environment.

What is the application process?
Applicants submit an essay and provide their transcript for review. Selection is limited to 20 students, and applying does not guarantee acceptance.
When do applications open?
Applications open annually July 15th – August 3rd
When are students selected?
Selected students will be notified by September (of the year that they apply).
When do classes meet?
Students are required to commit to attending two class sessions. Specific class dates may vary from year to year; however, the exact schedule will be released and made readily available during the application process so families can plan accordingly.
