About Us

Increasing diversity in healthcare professions by educating youth

Leaders & Adolescents Uniting to Navigate Careers in Healthcare (LAUNCH Augusta), founded in 2017, is a nonprofit organization committed to opening doors for students by providing early exposure to healthcare careers, academic support, mentorship, and real-world workforce experiences. Our work is rooted in equity, access, and preparation – ensuring students have the knowledge, confidence, and support needed to pursue meaningful careers in healthcare. All LAUNCH programs are offered at no cost to students and families and are made possible through an all-volunteer based team, donors, and community partners.

Close the educational gap and combat barriers to entry into healthcare careers by providing free healthcare career exploration resources and health science education to K-12th grade students from predominantly underrepresented minority groups and/or disadvantaged economic backgrounds.
