Dr. Cherie Murray is a Dentist at Christ Community Health Services in Augusta, GA. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Anthropology from Agnes Scott College, then went on to attend dental school at the Dental College of Georgia. Dr. Murray completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program in Tucson, AZ through the NYU-Langone health system. She was able to gain advanced training, while treating populations lacking
access to dental care. Her passion is found in treating the oral health needs of underserved populations, particularly children. She also serves as Adjunct Faculty at the Dental College of Georgia. Dr. Murray has a heart for encouraging underrepresented students pursue healthcare careers for their personal and professional growth, as well as changing the narrative so that the underrepresented will become “the represented!”
