Leaders & Adolescents Uniting to Navigate Careers in Healthcare (LAUNCH Augusta), founded in 2017, is a nonprofit organization committed to opening doors for students by providing early exposure to healthcare careers, academic support, mentorship, and real-world workforce experiences. Our work is rooted in equity, access, and preparation – ensuring students have the knowledge, confidence, and support needed to pursue meaningful careers in healthcare. All LAUNCH programs are offered at no cost to students and families and are made possible through an all-volunteer based team, donors, and community partners.
LAUNCH provides free healthcare career programs, including a medical camp and interactive, hands-on experiences for students (kids, teens, and young adults) in Augusta and surrounding areas. Through early and repeated exposure to healthcare careers from K–12 and beyond, our unique pipeline approach, mentorship, and real-world learning expand access and improve diversity in healthcare—all at no cost to the student.
