Dr. Broussard is the Founder and President of LAUNCH. She is a native of Hephzibah, Ga. She did not consider a career choice in healthcare until she attended a short healthcare occupations program as a Senior in high school. From that point on, she was determined to start a program of her own that would provide students with earlier exposure to healthcare career choices. She received her Doctorate degree from University of South Alabama. She currently works as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Dr. Broussard believes that early exposure is key & hopes that LAUNCH will provide a foundation for youth to pursue careers in healthcare.
